Easter Long Weekend at the Hastings Hotel

The Easter long weekend is one of the best times of the year to get together with family and friends, and there’s no better place to do it than the pub!

Whether you’re kicking things off with fresh seafood and raffles, settling in for karaoke and footy, or bringing the family down for a classic Sunday roast, the Hastings Hotel is your local meeting spot all long weekend. Good food, cold drinks, plenty happening – exactly how a long weekend should be.

Thursday 2 April

Start the long weekend early. Tunstead Oysters will be set up in the carpark selling fresh, unshucked oysters, perfect for taking home and enjoying over the weekend.

We’ll also be drawing our Easter Seafood Raffle at 5:30pm, and the bistro is serving up $16 Chicken Schnitzels for dinner.

Don’t forget to stock up in the bottle shop while you’re here – it will be closed on Good Friday.

Friday 3 April – Good Friday

The pub will be open 12pm – 10pm for a relaxed Good Friday catch up.

Join us for our community raffle drawn at 6pm, then stick around as the mic turns on for karaoke from 7pm. Whether you're singing or just enjoying the show, it’s always a good laugh.

Saturday 4 April

Saturday is all about great food and live music.

From 3pm we’ll have a slow cooked pig on the spit, filling the pub with that unmistakable smell of proper barbecue. Grab a plate, settle in with a drink and make a night of it.

Then from 7:30pm, live music kicks off to keep the good vibes rolling.

Sunday 5 April – Easter Sunday

Bring the family in for a proper Easter meal and enjoy The Big Yorkie Sunday Roast. It’s the perfect way to round out the long weekend with great food and good company around the table.

Monday 6 April – Easter Monday

The long weekend isn’t over yet. The bistro will be open for lunch and dinner with no public holiday surcharge.
